Ministry of Environment launched a public consultation about the Regulation of an Italian Scheme for environmental qualification of products, based on PEF "Product Environmental Footprint", the European methodology that is having a pilot phase across member states.

Cartesio Network supported Italian Ministry in the writing of the Regulation and Regions members of Cartesio are developing experimental activities on the PEF application. In particular, PREFER Life project has developed demonstrative actions in pilot enterprises and clusters.
